SAFE TO INVESTING IN MIDCAP AND SMALLCAP COMPANIES ?

Today while watching CNBC TV18 news reporter made some comments of a company called Shree Global Tradefin Ltd ,It was stocking to hear that companies market capitalization is 8474 cr under category of NBFC.So see small research about company

Promoter of company own 74.87% of companies shares,out of public ownership, 24.15% own by 7 indiviual and one company called Aristo Realty Developers Ltd.So as per bseindia.com site individual shareholders holding nominal share capital up to Rs. 1 lakh is 383,683,so i became more curious to know about company .So i search comapny name through google to see companies site (after all a 8474cr company)my bad luck no information about site,so check company details in BSE site,got a email id([email protected]) to contact company,so i checked http://sgtl.in just common sense.site under construction from its look and image.To check history i again came to google.com after half hour search got details as follows

Company History: 1980 - Founded in 1980 as Benson Steels Ltd by Kenneth Benson and Merilyn Benson and is finance business..

1981 - Paul Benson Become a part of Benson Steel as President.

1994 - Paul Benson retired in 1994.

1995 - Ken Benson appointed as president and CEO.

2005 - Shree Global Tradefin Ltd. acquired Sanford Steel Pvt Ltd.

- Shree Global Tradefin Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company on October 21 2005 has decided that for consideration of Scheme of Amalgamation of M/s Harold International Ltd M/s. Trump Investments Ltd M/s. Tradition Exim Ltd M/s. Sanford Steel Pvt Ltd and M/s. Salvador Steel Pvt Ltd with the Company and reduction of share capital of the Company. For this the Board will meet again on October 26 2005.

- There was a plant expansion of 13000 square feet at Bolton headquarters which allowed Benson Steel to service customers better and faster.

2006 - Mumbai High Court had approved the scheme of amalgamation of four companies with Shree Global Tradefin Ltd.

2007 - There was a re-appointment of Shri. Prashant Puri as Director of the Company.

Till now i am confused about what companies business,may be because of name Shree Global Tradefin Ltd or former name Benson Steels Ltd and to add it bse showing compant under FINANCE NBFC.By research reveals more results from alacrastore.com i got comapnies profile as manufacturer and trade coils and cold rolled steel sheet.Woww i got it

I already told promoter owned 74.87% of equity of company (two promoter Teamwork Stock Fin Pvt Ltd & Blossom Stock Fin Pvt Ltd ).didn't get any info about this pvt ltds ,readers who know about this please give info ,will add in this blog later.
