Today Sensex closed at 17701, up 14 points and Nifty at 5281, up 3 points from the previous close. CNX Midcap index was up 0.26% and BSE Smallcap index was up 0.44%. Top Nifty gainers included Grasim, Tata Power and Cipla while losers included Maruti, HCL Technologies and Reliance Infrastructure.
